BPSC AEDO Selection Process 2026
As per the BPSC AEDO Notification PDF, the selection of candidates for Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) posts will be based on a written exam. The written exam will be held in offline mode, consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. Qualified candidates in the written exam will be shortlisted for the document verification process.
Stage 1 – Written Exam: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the BPSC AEDO written exam to shortlist eligible candidates for Assistant Education Development Officer posts. The written exam will be held in offline mode.
Stage 2 – Document Verification Process: Qualified candidates in the written exam will be called to appear for the document verification process, at which the candidate’s certificate will be verified by the exam authority.
BPSC AEDO Exam Pattern 2026
The written exam will include three papers, all objective in nature. Paper 1 will be of General Language, Paper 2 will be of General Studies, and Paper 3 will be of General Aptitude.
- The exam will consist of three objective papers: General Language, General Studies, and General Aptitude.
- Each paper will carry 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours.
- Negative marking: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The General Language paper is qualifying in nature. Candidates must score 30% marks in both English and Hindi separately.
- Marks of General Studies and General Aptitude will be counted for the final merit.
