PSPCL ALM Recruitment 2026; Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 3000 Assistant Lineman (ALM) posts through Advt No. CRA 315/26 on 7th April 2026. Candidates with an ITI (Electrician/Wireman) qualification can apply online for the released vacancies from 15th April 2026 onwards at www.pspcl.in.

The total 3000 posts are distributed across various categories, including General, SC, BC, EWS, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Sports Persons, and Freedom Fighters. Out of these, 1461 are backlog vacancies, and 1539 are new vacancies.

PSPCL Assistant Lineman Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have completed Punjabi as a subject in high school or the tenth grade.
• A National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Lineman Trade is required of candidates.
• Candidates with higher education, such as a degree or diploma in electrical engineering, will only be taken into consideration if they also meet the requirements, such as a National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade.

PSPCL ALM Selection Process 2026

The selection process for Assistant Lineman posts in Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) includes an online written examination followed by document verification and medical examination. The candidates qualified in all stages of the selection process will be recruited for 3000 Assistant Lineman (ALM) posts.

PSPCL ALM 2026 Exam Pattern

Part I- Punjabi Language Test is a compulsory test comprising 50 multiple-choice questions. To pass, a candidate is required to score a minimum of 50% (25 marks). In case a candidate fails to achieve the minimum qualifying marks, they will be disqualified

Part 2- In this section, examination will be conducted in English and Punjabi, except for the Punjabi language questions, which will be in Punjabi only.

• The candidate will have the option to select the preferred language of the examination.
• Part 2 will comprise 150 Multiple-choice questions with 1 mark for each correct answer.
• There will be no negative marking.
• The Paper will be for 3 hours.
